JAPAN 2012 Part 3
DAY 8
Had homecook breakfast by Kento's (host) mum! Yum yum!
We then set off for Miyajima, an island in Japan!
And the island is filled with wild deer walking around! Although they look cute, I am really scared of animals... and they will eat any paper you are holding
Went to some shrine, and need to pay entrance fee to get in one!!!
They wanted to climb the hill at first. I was okay with it, since I gained so much weight with all the good food around me ._. But decided to just walk around instead because the climb will take us about 90 minutes, and we were panting after climbing for 15 minutes......
And so, more good food!
I think its called momiji manju? Some fried snack with different flavours inside, but taste like fried banana to me hahaha!
Next, my Grilled oyster with cheese and white cream! Delicious!
Authentic Japanese Sushi Restaurant! All the sashimis are damn fresh I tell you!!
Tuna Sushi!!!
Next, some pork cutlet rice at another restaurant!
Okay, now you know where do all the fats come from....
Next, we went to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum! I was really curious and the entrance fee only 50 yen (100 yen = S$1.57, so do your own calculation LOL), so we went in!
Was really quite amazed by the explanations of the Atomic Bomb incident! I mean, I was not a History student so I didn't know much about it!
And the Peace Memorial Park which pay tributes to the victims!
This building is still standing after the Atomic Bombing!
Took 2 hours to go back, and had a early rest that day!
DAY 9
Authentic Japanese house! How cool it is to live there for 3 days!
With Eileen's friend! Gosh my eyes were blinking when taking this photo, and Eileen didn't ask for a retake!!
McPork for lunch, and off we went to board the trains again!
And we reached Himeiji to meet Eileen's 2 other friends!
And I have to say this, one of her friend damn hot sia! Very handsome can 补眼睛 hahahaha!
There's nothing much to do in Himeiji, so we went to sing k! A bit paiseh for me because its my first time seeing them and I had to sing in front of them >_>, my skin very thin one!!
Had egg soba for dinner!
Then we headed to Nobu Bar, an international bar which her friend works in. Had 2 drinks, both treated by them. And he kept saying he wants to make me drunk, and he was the one who got drunk in the end hahaha!
Had a great time hanging out with them!
